— WHAT WE DO

Relief that arrives close to home

The Fund cannot cover every expense of a tragedy. It gives a direct and quick boost of relief when finances seem an insurmountable burden.

Individuals and families

Help after a fire, a flood, an accident or a serious diagnosis — when the bills arrive before anything else does.

Local businesses

Support for a Gorham-area shop, garage or farm knocked out by a catastrophic event.

Community fundraisers

Casino Night, the Golf Ball Drop and benefit nights hosted by neighboring businesses.

— OUR STORY

Named for two neighbors, built by many

The Reed-Allen Community Fund was founded after the 2012 GHOP fire and a life-changing cancer battle, inspired by the memories of John Reed and Dana Allen.

Our mission is to support local families facing crisis with compassion, dignity and hope. Our board is 100% volunteer, which keeps our costs low and sends more of every gift to the families we serve.
